Often, when I work with different types of organizations, I’ve found a “we’re different” attitude when it comes to change, improvement and transformation. However, what I’ve found is that all organizations share a common reality; the value they provide, customers who are willing to pay a price for that value, and expenses necessary to deliver that value to the customer. The aim should be to deliver value to meet and exceed customer requirements, and provide a competitive price while spending less than the revenue collected, thereby maintaining profitability.
Affordability measures qualitative performance (customers, people, suppliers) and quantitative performance (time, quality, cost). In fact, such measures yield growth and increased demand.
I have not yet met an organization that could not benefit from Affordability.
